Two Sri Lankan Students won a Special Award at the ISEF 2017 in USA

Sankalpa Perera and Shehan Kavishka , two Sri Lankan students of S. De S. Jayasinghe Central Collage, Dehiwala, who represented NSF Science Research Projects Competition (SRPC) 2016 at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2017 have won a Special Award

 (Mawhiba’s Special Award) in the Category of Earth & Biomedical Sciences at the Special Awards Ceremony held on 18 May 2017 for their Science Project on “Micro and nano engineering for wastewater: magnetized biochar and nanoparticle composite for toxic Cr(VI) removal”.
